How to Deliver more fruit into your kids

A cold press juicer is a great way to encourage your children to eat more fruits. These juicers make drinks that are sweeter than fizzy drinks, but healthier.

Vegetable juices are not recommended for children. Hidden vegetables can make up a small portion of juice drinks. Although a handful of spinach can make a juice more green, it will not give flavour. A small carrot can also be used to make orange juice.

However, not all vegetables lose their taste. Red pepper and cucumber dominate the palates. It might be possible to mask the taste with ginger, but that depends on how much your children enjoy ginger.

It is fascinating to see the juice and pulp come out of the machine. This is especially true when it changes colour. Children may struggle to assemble the parts, so they might need some strength and dexterity. However, the recipes are theirs.

The machine has no sharp edges and the fruit is placed in a long tube fitted with a special tool that keeps fingers from moving parts. The point of the exercise, which is to extract the fruit slowly, is not to ram it in.

To persuade children to eat vegetables in large quantities, it is better to make tasty vegetable dishes. This will add fiber to the diet, which is also important.

Vegetable lasagnes with small pieces of vegetables, paired with tomato and cheese sauces, should be appealing. Celery soup is sweet and delicious compared to raw celery's strong flavor. A salad made with cherry tomatoes and avocado is sweeter, and therefore more delicious. Another idea is to make avocado into a dip with mayonnaise and raw carrot sticks. Just be careful not to make it too strong with lots chilli and coriander. If you add lots of parsnip to sweeten, hiding Brussels sprouts will work.

A balanced diet should include vegetables. You should not eat just fruit when you are aiming to get five (or seven) meals a day.

Wash all fruit that is put in the juicer. To extract the best juice, it must be cut into small pieces.

Before placing harder fruits in the hopper, it is best to place softer fruits first. All of this should be done slowly and gently, without using force. It is better to use small chunks than thin slices, which can catch between the mesh and the outside of your auger. Larger segments of fruit may get caught in the feed tube.

Healthy juices are rich in nutrients and enzymes. They can be consumed immediately, but can be stored for up to two days in the refrigerator. A clear, tight-fitting lid on a glass container is the best storage option. You can prevent browning by adding a few drops of lemon juice, but real juice will be different than the juice you buy in the supermarket.

It's good to have variety. Different fruits offer different nutrients. You can also add super berries as dried powders. Goji, inca and acai can be stored up to 18 months.

You can also make nut milks. You can also make nut milks by soaking the nuts in water for a few hours and then putting the water in the juicer along with the nuts.

The best juice is made from fresh fruit. You can eat the whole lot of fruit purchased at a low price from a market stand right away. A glut of fruits from your garden can be frozen to preserve them through winter. These two sources of fruits will help keep the cost of juicing low.

You should remove the skin of grapefruits and oranges, and any other fruits that may affect the juice. Grapefruits and oranges must be peeled, but kiwi fruits don't.

Too many apple pip pieces are harmful for your health. Don't eat the pips from the apples when you chop them into chunks. If you don't intend to peel lemons, they should not be waxed. Rhubarb should not be eaten.
